What we collect when you use this site, why, who else can see it, and how to have it deleted.

The short version
This website has no accounts, no analytics and no advertising. The only personal data it receives is what you type into the contact form, and the only thing we do with it is reply to you.
We do not sell data, we do not share it for marketing, and there is no mailing list to be added to.
What we collect
When you submit the contact form we receive the fields you filled in — your name, work email, optionally your company, the kind of engagement you selected, optionally a budget range, and your message. We also record the time of submission.
Our hosting provider records standard server request data for every visit, including IP address, user agent and the page requested. We use a hashed form of the IP address to rate-limit the contact form, and for nothing else.
- No cookies are set by this site.
- No analytics or tracking scripts run on any page.
- Your theme preference is stored in your own browser under `algologix-theme` and never sent to us.
Why we are allowed to hold it
For the contact form, because you asked us to contact you — that is a legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry, and you can withdraw it at any time by asking us to delete the message.
For server request data, because a website cannot be served or protected from abuse without it.
Who else can see it
Two third parties, both acting on our instructions and both listed in full on the security page.
- Vercel Inc., which hosts this site and processes request data.
- Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.), which delivers the email your form submission becomes.
- The message itself then sits in our email provider's mailbox, the same as any email you send us directly.
How long we keep it
Enquiries stay in the inbox while a conversation is live and are deleted within twenty-four months of the last message, or sooner if you ask.
Rate-limit records expire automatically one hour after the submission that created them. Host request logs follow our hosting provider's own retention, which is measured in days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@algologix.co and we will action it within thirty days.
If you are in the UK, EU or another jurisdiction with a data protection authority, you may complain to it. We would rather you told us first.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it. We do not backdate it.
